I've been thinking... Alex English was good all right.
But was he that good? Does he deserve to be the main Nuggets throwback out there?
In europe Alex English throwback was and is very easy to find in sales, there must be a reason...
Why the heck they decided to choose him? I would have gone with Adams! or Kiki!
Sorry to offend Alex or his supporters but i strongly believe that a throwback uniform must represent the bests and I do not consider him a top of the"Pyramid" guy.
Hopefully the Nuggets will get more players to be remembered in the future. Anthony did gain this honor as much as Mutombo, who else is on the way?
Lawson....na
Iguodala...maybe
Gallinari...I hope so!

NBA All-Star Game Jersey
NBA has always been one of the biggest annual sporting events in world
sports. And right from its inception in 1951 the All-Stars game has been a hit
with the best of NBA battling it out for the trophy. It has drawn such wide
attention all over the world. So lot of work and pain is always taken to make the
jerseys for the All-Stars a hit.The All-Stars for people who are unaware is a
basketball match between the West and the East America with the best players
from NBA in that season representing the East and West teams accordingly.Making
an analysis, over the years the East All-Stars team has been seen to stick
mostly with the blue color or other lighter or darker shades of blue. And
similarly the West has stuck with red and white usually.Though modern jerseys of
NBA seem better the NBA retro uniforms are equally good.A lot of people still
adore the NBA retro uniforms more than the current versions.NBA jerseys are some
of the most popular jerseys sold online which just happens to show the reach of
NBA.Mitchell and Ness is one of the favorite site used for online purchase of
NBA jerseys.Back to NBA retro uniforms, there have been separate jerseys for
All-Stars games ever since its inception at 1951.However the 1995 All-Stars
jersey was a different one and was the one which made a change. It was in violet
color being quite different from the previous versions of NBA All-star
jerseys. It may also be claimed to be the start for what we say as the evolution
of better NBA jerseys with fashionable designs.1997-2002 was a black period as
far as NBA All-Star jerseys are concerned. This is because the players were made
to wear their standard team jerseys during the All-Stars games in this
period. However in 2003 the old style of separate jerseys for All-Stars was
introduced back. But the 2005 jerseys were the one which set the model for the
jerseys of today.Inspite of so many jerseys, the 2011 All-Stars jersey remains
the favorite among people. With golden stripes lining the West jersey and silver
lining the East jersey it looked enigmatic. It also became one of the highly
gifted items especially from Mitchell and Ness. The 2011 jersey also had
matching trousers that provided a shimmer under light and looked brilliant on
the players. With such high standards set, the 2012 All-Stars jersey however
failed to live up to its expectations.Though the jersey looked impressive at
first the trousers turned out to be mismatched thus spoiling the entire look of
the jerseys. It certainly would have been good to have designed matching
trousers or contrast-colored trousers.Yet NBA All-Stars jerseys still remain to
be favorite gifting options. The 2011 jersey is one of the best gifting
options. It is one of those gifts that every basketball fan would dream to
have. The All-Star jerseys will always remain to be favorites as long as NBA
lives and as long as basketball lives.

Best NBA backcourt of all Time
Very often team are built around 2 or 3 stars: Westbrook and Durant, Bosh - Wade -James, Bryant - Howard - Gasol, Jordan and Pippen, Stockton and Malone.
Too often though these player are not a point guard and a shooting guard.
During the 80's was fundamental to have a power forward or a center to build around him the franchise, most of the times the sidekick, the "second violin" was and outstanding guard or a scoring forward to guarantee bunch of points or run the game.
For this reason most of the teams were not choosing as thei two best players point and shooting guard.
Try to translate this to the idea of pairing 2 all of famers in those position...we are going to run very short.
Here some of the best vintage couples of all times at 1 and 2 position:
Magic Johnson - Byron Scott
Bob Cousy - Bill Sharman
Isaiah Thomas - Joe Dumars
Earl Monroe - Walt Frazier
Tim Hardaway - Mitch Richmond
Chauncey Billups - Rip Hamilton
Kevin Johnson - Dan Majerle
Penny Hardaway - Nick Anderson
Of these "hardwood classics" players only few pairs are stuffed of top 50 nba all time players, some are all of famers some were all stars.

All-Star NBA Jerseys' History
Since the first All-star action organised in 1951, it's been 60 decades of the NBA All-star record. So let's take a look at how the All-star NBA Jerseys have modified during the 60 decades.
In 1951, the first NBA All-star action was organised. It was only 2 decades after BAA combined with NBL, and there were only 11 groups in the group, as the California Capitols broke in the starting of that season. In those days, the basketball was not well-known in the USA. The American's preferred activities were the NFL (National Soccer League), MLB (Major Group Baseball) and NHL (National Soccer League). So the NBA group was maintaining quite a low information. Even in the All-star action which was targeted to please the lovers, the NBA Jerseys were quite traditional. From 1951 to 1970, All-star NBA Jerseys were incredibly frequent and firm. The primary shades were always the Red, White-colored, and Azure which displayed the group, and there were no big "NBA" characters or logo in the shirt. There was only the "EAST" or "WEST" displaying in stomach area, along with the massive variety. Moreover, there could not be two same figures in one team. For example, if Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan were both in the WEST All-star team, one of them could not use the No.21, and had to select another variety that nobody had used. Besides these firm guidelines, the most undesirable factor is that the NBA Nj Design Division considered that now that it was All-star action, everybody's shirt must have celebrities on it, and the celebrities must be basically shaded five-pointed celebrities. Therefore, in the 20 decades, every NBA All-star shirt had been complete of celebrities and the celebrities had somehow become the top part in the experience. It was said that there was even a collection in the starting wedding that all gamers in the All-star action would be side in side performing "we are the stars" or something.
After coming into the Nineteen-eighties, the scenario was a little bit modified. The group noticed that the frequent and firm guidelines would not be preferred by the adolescents who had taken a big aspect in the NBA customer industry. Although the group still organised a careful mind-set against the jerseys' design, they had began to let some innovative styles appear. Since then, the All-star NBA Jerseys maintained to be varied. Some vibrant styles had been revealed in the NBA All-star Jerseys. For example in 1975 Arizona All-star Jerseys, there was a increasing sun in the jeans. In 1979 Detroit All-star Jerseys, the prepared characters and figures designed quite a perspective effect. And for some purpose, in 1982, the design and elegance with celebrities all around the shirt sleeve and hem was implemented by many individuals. And this shirt style was ongoing until 1987 with very few changes. In this interval the significant function was that the NBA logo was proven in the most apparent position of the shirt, which indicates the NBA group had lastly began to highlight its product development. Of course this apparent promotion action was first of all opposed by customers, but then the individuals approved it soon. After all, the commercialization had been all over the planet already.
When the hip-hop lifestyle splitting the limitations of individual events had become a large well-known factor in the whole European countries and The united states community, the freedom of character had become everybody's motto. And the very unique, elegant, unusual and brilliant shirt styles were all designed in this interval. For example the Colorado Nuggets' Spectrum Jerseys in the Nineteen-eighties were considered as a work of art before it is time even from modern viewpoint. Also, the group for initially provided the power to the variety town to develop and create the All-star Jerseys. The tedious All-star shirt was then being designed on the way of customization.
But if the customization had gone too far, it wouldn't be a advantage either. It was apparent that every variety places had highlighted on implementing the regional team jersey's components so much that they had ignored the preferences of the whole United states viewers. In 1995 Arizona All-star Games -- this town's design had always been either too amazing or too dreadful -- they put a massive unique that seemed like the fertilizer side onto an orange/yellow repulsive celebrity in the shirt. The most eliminating aspect was the fertilizer side with this shade. The town was quite incredibly pleased of it, but this All-star NBA shirt style was almost the toughest promoting one ever. Maybe for the design and elegance it was not that bad, but obviously it was not everybody that would really like the wasteland and unique.
In 1996, the scenario seemed more serious. The group was expecting the low-profile and sincere San Antonio could come up with an appropriate NBA shirt to carry it returning to the right way. However, no one could suppose those great shaded Jerseys with little sweet peppers would appear on Jordan's human body. The ABC was finding an viewers who remaining the experience beginning and he basically said, "Sorry, but I really have an sensitivity to great."
In 1997, the group lastly took returning the power of the All-star NBA shirt design. But the changing strategy seemed even more serious. Every gamer should use his own crew's shirt in the All-star action. Those various NBA Jerseys created it seemed like that every gamer was battling alone. And due to along with identifying issue, turnovers such as moving the basketball to the incorrect team mate had impacted the experience. The action was not so amazing. This scenario modified in 2003. In 2003, the group lastly specific all the All-star NBA Jerseys again, and reactivated the 1988 All-star shirt style.

1986 Throwback Slam Dunk Jerseys
These last days I stumbled upon this pictures. It is from the 1986 slam dunk contest. Great time when also a pretty simple dunk was firing up the crowd.
I just want to highlight the uniqueness and beauty of two particular jerseys.
Indiana's Stansbury and Sacramento's Tyler.
Both are pretty hard to find. Pacers I'd be open to have a Reggie Miller Throwback like that, but for Sacramento I wouldn't like Webber's I'd definitely go for something like Mitch Richmond...Does anybody know if any of those are availabel somehow somwhere?
